The General Post Office in St Kitts are releasing stamps to celebrate the engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Souvenir sheets and sheet lets are being produced to mark this very historical occasion and will be on sale on 26th April 2011 ahead of the April 29th Wedding date.

Other countries issuing the special edition stamps include itutaki, Cook Islands, Gambia, Isle of Man, Grenada Grenadines, Guinea Bissau, Guyana, Liberia, Micronesia, Mozambique, Nevis, Penrhyn Island, Sierra Leone, Prince Island and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

StampNews.com reported recently that New Zealand Post were forced to recall their stamp packets because they stated that Prince William was born May 21 1982 instead of the actual date of June 21 1982. However a stamp dealer advised people not to return the stamps as they could be valuable. Of course Prince William is no stranger to this custom as he had stamps dedicated to him on his birth and also on his 21st birthday.

Stamps can be obtained through a selection of stamp dealers as well ad the postal services of the issuing countries.

The British Virgin Islands tourist board has recently announced additional headline acts have been confirmed for the BVI music festival 2011.

Previous acts announced were number one selling Trey Songz, Keyisha Cole and R&B´s biggest and most loved Boyz II Men, the festival is to be held at Cane Garden Bay. Additional acts announced are Reggae and Dancdhall star Clifton George Baily, soca king Iwer George, the legendary Black Stalin, Reggaeton singer Piddy Pablo out of Santo Domingo has also been confirmed along with BVI´s very own Quito and the Edge, Show time Band and Addicsun Band.

With such a great line up of acts at the festival this year the Cane Garden Bay will be buzzing and you will find yourself bopping whether it be to Trey Songz “Bottoms Up” or swaying to Keyshia Coles “Heaven Sent” or breaking it down to Boyz II Men´s “I´ll Make Love to you”.

This year is guaranteed to be a great one and not to be missed. Full line up will be announced soon.
